The architectural image and the acoustic versatility of the AD 40 panel
make them fulfill the high requirements of studios, THX certified cinemas,
5.1 film mixing rooms, vocal booth, concert halls, home movie auditoriums etc.
In cases where bass absorption is preferred the AD40 panel are fastened
to beams with a slit between them. In combination and due to the depth of the
slit and the volume of air behind the panels optional frequencies may be absorbed.
The combination of half cylinders and the mid section sequence of primitive
roots, result in spreading of the sound in time and simultaneously minimising
disturbing reflexes. Since the mid section is not periodical the spreading
will be optimised if the AD40 is assembled randomly.
AD40 is available in a 2D version as pillars AD40 2DC and as ornament modules
AD40 2D OM .
