The architectural image and the acoustic versatility of the AD panels make them fulfill the high requirements of studios, THX certified cinemas, 5.1 film mixing rooms, concert halls, home movie auditoriums etc. In cases where bass absorption is preferred the AD panels are fastened to beams with a slit between them. In combination and due to the depth of the slit and the volume of air behind the panels optional frequencies may be absorbed effectively due to the Helmholz principle. When assembled the AD30 creates half cylinders (that evenly spreads incomin sound) and quarter cylinders that in combination minimises disturbing reflexes and contributes to the musicality of the panels.
