In cases where bass absorption is preferred the AD panels are fastened to beams with a slit between them and functions thus as a Helmholz resonator
Assembled side by side the AD20 become half cylinders, that evenly spreads incoming sound. In order to minimise the periodical effect the mid section consist of compartments which depths are determined by a sequence of primitive roots. The sequence is not periodical which means that it should be assembled randomly in order to optimise the diffusion.
