MA 300 2D creates in combination with chosen Creation Panel square separate diffuser modules, that diffuses in two dimensions. By aid of known number theory the MA modules are placed at different depth and creates a diffuser inside a diffuser. The advantage with this construction, that can be compared to a 2-way loudspeaker with a dividing filter at 900 Hz, is that narrow and deep compartments are avoided and that the periodical effects are minimised (many different number series can be mixed)
The separate modules are delivered with or without 16mm partition walls.
The MA 300 2D is delivered with or without bass absorption, which make them unique on the world market. The bass absorption is carried out effectively with the Helmholtz principle. Since the volume of chosen MA module varies a broad banded bass absorption with a high absorption coefficient (>0,7) is obtained. The lowest frequency for absorption is determined by the chosen maximum depth of the MA module. The lowest grade of diffusion is determined by the total width in combination with the maximal depth.
Advantages with MA 300 2D
Developed in co-operation with Musicians
Narrow and deep compartments are avoided which brings low absorption in the area that are to be diffused.
As each MA 300 2D module is separate it is possible to place the partition walls between an optional number of MA-modules
Large areas can be diffused (for example concert halls)
Can be delivered with or without partition walls
Different Creation panels are available
Possibilities to adjust the bass absorption upper limit to the lower frequency limit of the diffusers
Variable acoustics can be obtained by AC 300
Cost efficient
